About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Alex Smart Tech LLC collects, uses, and protects information in connection with RepairUT.com, repair services, appointments, customer support, and customer communications.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, phone number, email address, device and requested-service information, appointment and service details, communications with us, and other information you voluntarily provide. Website hosting may also produce standard request, server, security, and operational logs.
How we use information
We use information to evaluate, arrange, and fulfill requested services; provide customer support; coordinate appointments; send requested or consented-to communications; maintain service records; operate and protect the business; and comply with law.
Service providers
Service providers may process information only as needed to provide services on behalf of Alex Smart Tech LLC, such as website hosting, communications, payment processing, or other operational support, and as permitted or required by law.
Optional AI repair matching
The quote tool first attempts to match your description to our catalog on your device. If you select the optional AI checkbox and AI is enabled, your description may be sent to the shop’s matching endpoint, which may use OpenAI to suggest a catalog match. Do not include personal information, IMEIs, or passwords. You can use manual selection without AI. AI suggestions are not diagnoses or final prices.
SMS and mobile information
Alex Smart Tech LLC does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information and SMS consent data are used only as necessary to provide messaging services, support the customer relationship, operate the business, and comply with law. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
Security, retention, and children
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no system is completely secure. We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy, normal business records, disputes, security, and legal obligations. The website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.
