Charging faults, a broken screen, or controller drift? Alex Smart Tech evaluates Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and OLED models. Tell us what works in handheld mode and what fails with an accessory.
Note whether the battery indicator appears and whether a compatible charger works. For dock-capable models, tell us if the handheld screen works but the TV stays blank. Switch Lite does not support TV output. A damaged USB-C port and a dock, charger, battery, or board fault require different work; do not force the plug.
For drift, identify the affected stick and whether the problem occurs in several games. Say whether the controller is a removable Joy-Con, a separate controller, or part of a Switch Lite. For a display fault, describe cracked glass, lines, missing image, and touch response. Ask which accessories to bring before your visit.
